Here we go again

Well that was easy. Managed to add the Alan Johnston link and a picture.
Also worked out how folk can comment without being Google folk.
Maybe too easy. The only problem is that I think the autoformat is too
clever for me.
I keep pressing buttons and not sure which that puts this in preview
mode. 
Next step will be my ridiculously truthful profile. 

The First of many (ha)

Well this is my first attempt at this. So expecting very few responses. Going to post my holiday diary on here. But probably won't be near internet access when on my hols. Ho Hum. Will do the fancy profile stuff later.
